Who are we?

Paul Hood is a spiritual counselor with degrees in Behavioral Science and Religious Studies who brings a lifetime of spiritual focus, study and experience into his work. At the age of 13 he had the unusual experience of having a full Kundalini awakening during meditation (see video here). This left him with a number of intuitive abilities which he developed and honed throughout his life. Further spiritual awakenings occurred along the way, becoming particularly intensified at the age of 33 when he felt a strong call to spiritual service and undertook an intensive program of self-directed spiritual practice and study. In addition to spiritual counseling he is also a Reiki Master and advanced level energy healer with many tools and techniques at his disposal. Sheryl Karas has an M.A. in Transpersonal Psychology and 28 years of experience providing informal counseling in a variety of settings including (most recently) the Alzheimer’s Association and Del Mar Caregiver Resource Center. Her first experiences with receiving direct spiritual guidance came early in her childhood (see video here) but, like most people on a serious healing path, she needed to develop the capacity and learn to use it appropriately over time. Sheryl has studied many systems of healing including Chinese Five Element Theory, chakra theory, herbalism, medical intuition and mind/body medicine. She is a certified Reiki Master, medical dowser, and Flower Essence Practitioner, the author of three books, and the designer and producer of Mama Love Healing Perfume Oils.
